  1. Dear Peter and Silvia,
Your family is so beautiful. I think of you often. I pray for you too! What wonderful memories we share. I miss you, and wish you all the best.
    Much love,
    Bill

    1. Dear Bill,
It would be impossible for me to calculate the influence you had on me during the first years of my Christian life. I preached my first sermon at Grace Gospel, when they asked you to find someone. Then I preached my second sermon at Windy City Community Church on our one year wedding anniversary–a year after you married Silvia and me at Judson Baptist Church. You recommended that I study Greek at UIC to “get it out of the way” for when I got to Trinity. You brought Tim Bruns and me to sit in on a few classes at Trinity so we could check it out. One of those classes was with D.A. Carson, who is my favorite exegete bar none. You spoke well of Dennis Magary and invited him to preach at Windy City. I went on to study both Hebrew and Aramaic with him. One regret I have is that Silvia and I’ve never met Margi or your kids. Maybe some day. I just told Silvia about your comment and she brightened up and said. By the way, tell Bill that tomorrow I plan on making the potatoes he likes so much 🙂
We miss you too and pray that God continues to bless richly your family and your ministry at Redding Neighborhood Church.
Thank you for your prayers. Please don’t stop!
Con l’affetto di Cristo (With Christ’s love),
      With greetings from Silvia too
P.S. I can only imagine what you experienced in California when the Cubs won the World Series. I haven’t followed baseball in decades but, as a native Chicagoan, was of course very happy. Then I was delighted to hear that Ben Zobrist is a believer.

  2. Dear Peter & Silvia,
Happy New Year! So glad we were able to spend time with you both in Florence last June! It was a sweet time and we hope we can spend time together again very soon, whether here in the States or in there in Italy (which I would prefer =)). Take care, say hello to Silvia! We will continue to pray for your family and ministry!
    Much Love,
    The Pollina Family

    1. Dear Frank and Diane,
It was great to see you two again and meet for the first time your three adult children.
Thank you so much for your prayers for our family and my ministry. We covet and need them!
May God bless richly the five of you in this new year!
We too hope to see you soon, whether here or there.
A presto, with much love from Silvia and me 🙂
